In a recent news story from the San Mateo County Times, a Redwood City lawyer is suing the high school his son attends because his son got caught cheating and was thrown out of the honors class.

Can you smell it? The freshly cut grass, the infield dirt, the long slabs of hickory against the dugout - MLB is in full swing and there’s nothing better than baseball to welcome in the warmer weather. ‘Cause we’re all sick and tired of the cold.
In the meantime, here are some things that I took from Opening Day:

So for the past two classes, I’ve ignored the “clase count” and focused more on my morning tea. I think I’m officially done with that.
Nevertheless, here’s a duck. It was chilling outside my classroom as I walked out.
What a duck is doing in the desert is beyond my knowledge.

It feels weird being BOTH productive and able to get home early. Oh well, at least I got something done.
Anyhow, the “class count” today is 174. Yes, we had a test and there may be a *slight* margin of error.
Jeez, it’s windy today.
